Remove Watermarks

WOS is free software. Its discovery (and by extension its usage) depends partly on word of mouth. The short (~four second) splash watermark and the system credit entry help people find the system. Removing credit from the WOS source without WOS Premium is not allowed.

With WOS Premium

If you’re on the Premium model, open Configurations:

• Set Startup to false to remove the startup credit splash (this is the usual Premium default, so confirm the comment next to the key in your module).
• Use ShowSystemInMenu to hide the system entry from the in-game menu when you don’t want that credit listed there.

Together, these cover the main player-visible branding surfaces Premium is licensed to disable.

Without WOS Premium

On Basic, you may adjust the short loading splash via LoadingScreen, for example default or disabled, per the comments in Configurations. That does not grant a license to strip credit from the source or to remove Premium-gated branding.
