Shizuku 0.1.0 for Discourse
Shizuku (しずく、雫) is a soft and calm Discourse theme inspired by saicaca's Fuwari (ふわり).

This theme is open source on GitHub, so you can play with it on Discourse any time. Keep in mind, this theme is in beta, and probably won't have consistent updates, if at all, so I'd refrain from using it on a public forum, or at least as the default theme.
Fuwari, the static blog generator written in Astro by Fuwari, was a great reference point for a Discourse theme. Fuwari's design is simple but consistent, soft and calm but not boring; just, overall a good starting point for a Discourse theme.
What I like most about Fuwari, and what I'm trying to replicate, is its smooth transitions and animations. I haven't gotten very far yet, only a couple so far, but that is my goal for this theme.
Smooth transitions is what I think Discourse is lacking, in my opinion. Smooth transitions and subtle feedback can make a slow server feel bearable, which is why I think this is the perfect point of focus for a Discourse theme.
Here's the profile page on Shizuku:

The collapse/expand button is much improved here, it's also animated with a smooth transition, which I quite enjoy.
It was a fun experiment, not sure if I'll be updating this or working on anything more for Discourse in the future. Check it out on GitHub below!
